Getting a bit tired now

Harrison might have overdone it a bit yesterday. He's been really tired all day long and hasn't been as cheerful. He had a decent night's sleep on the BIPAP, and otherwise was off the machine all day long until 17:00, when one of his nurses decided he ought to start it again as he was working harder to breathe. He's just come back off the machine for a while now while I type, but shall be using it again overnight. Harrison's had more physiotherapist-prescribed Wii games today, which he temporarily perked up for. As he's spent most of the rest of the day at rest, we didn't take any photos, but we did take this short video of him playing the Wii:

After playing the Wii, we met Harrison's consultant cardiologist again, who wanted Harrison to try walking up some stairs. Harrison managed to walk down the ward to the main stairwell and climb eleven stairs. A sleep study has been organised for tomorrow night to check his oxygen saturations and breathing over a sleep period, which should be very useful for planning his discharge and recovery. Harrison was weighed again today; he's lost 3.8kg since his admission, which would explain why he's looking so gaunt. We think Bernard's probably gained the same on the hospital food... Harrison was so tired today he could hardly eat his pork chop! Notwithstanding, we will be asking the doctors tomorrow for a BIPAP machine to take home for a while to support him while we fatten him up! Oh, and Harrison discovered last night how to get live streams of BBC1-4 via the BBC web site... so that he did not miss Top Gear.
